30 Days No Manual Shiba Inu Burn? Community Demands Burns From SHIB Lead

The Shiba Inu community members are rallying on social media, demanding more SHIB burn Shibarium, the ecosystem’s layer-2 network.

There has been pronounced silence on the ongoing initiative around SHIB burns with transaction fees from the ecosystem blockchain Shibarium. As a result, community members have taken to X to demand efforts from the ecosystem team.

Shiba Inu Army Demanding Burns

Prominent voices leading the charge include Lola, a respected member of the Shiba Inu community. Following a recent post, Lola directly inquired about the progress regarding SHIB burns from Shiba Inu lead developer, Shytoshi Kusama. Lola lamented, saying:

“Where is the SHIB you will burn? Stop flirting with the crowd. We want that one sticky zero to move out soon, or you will never find any love at all.”

A Shiba Inu enthusiast acknowledged Lola’s plea, urging Shytoshi Kusama to heed her message and emphasizing her dedication to the Shiba Inu community and her commitment to its well-being.

Also, the enthusiast sought updates regarding automatic burns on Shibarium, hoping 300 billion SHIB tokens or more could be incinerated daily.

30 Days No Burns

Similarly, prominent Shiba Inu community figure Oscar Ramos directed Shytoshi Kusama’s attention to the fact that it has been over 30 days since the team burned SHIB. Notably, the team’s last burn was on January 10, with over 9.35 billion SHIB incinerated. 

“Are we burning more this SHIB month?” Ramos inquired, seeking a timeline should for the next burn transaction. Furthermore, he disclosed holding SHIB tokens and possessing Shiba Inu Magazine covers, underscoring his commitment to the community.

 “I like this community and would like a clear answer from you,” Oscar Ramos added.

Ramos further tagged Shiba Inu’s content marketer, Lucie, seeking an update concerning SHIB burns. Other community members have also expressed their desire for answers, demanding 100% clarity.

Burn Update

At press time, neither Kusama nor Lucie has provided an update specific to Shiba Inu burns. However, one of the most recent updates concerning SHIB burns is that the team is transitioning from manual burns to automatic incineration.

According to The Crypto Basic, the testing phase for the SHIB auto-burn move commenced late last month. The team has continued to request patience while charging the community to leverage Shibarium to bolster the burns.
