Shiba Inu Lead Developer Explains His “SHIB is Greater Than X” Statement

Shiba Inu lead developer Shystoshi Kusama throws more light on his claim that the Shiba Inu ecosystem is greater than Elon Musk’s X and Sam Altman’s Worldcoin.

Shytoshi Kusama recently caused a stir when he boldly declared that Shiba Inu is greater than Elon Musk’s X (formerly Twitter) platform earlier this week. 

Likewise, he submitted that Shiba Inu is better than Sam Altman’s Worldcoin (WLD) project. As expected, these claims met with several reactions and remained a top subject of discussion among crypto market participants. 

Kusama Sheds Light on Controversial Statement

In a recent outcome, Kusama has opted to clear the air regarding the controversial comparison, noting that he did so with intentions. Renowned crypto expert Del Crxpto took to Twitter today to share his explanations outlined in the Shiba Inu Discord channel.

While he failed to explicitly state the motive behind the ‘SHIB greater than X statement,’ the pseudonymous developer touted the expanding Shiba Inu ecosystem.

According to him, the canine-themed token has the most outstanding, robust and decentralized ecosystem. Kusama added that it would be difficult for any project to emulate the Shiba Inu ecosystem. 

He submitted: “When I wrote Shib > X in my most recent tweet, I did that with intention. I mean it with all my heart that no one, on this planet, has built what we have, and for many who will attempt to copy, it would take lifetimes. This is the true power of decentralization and what Ryoshi intended.”

The Shiba Inu Ecosystem

Undoubtedly, Shiba Inu is among the crypto projects with a thriving and ever-expanding ecosystem. Launched in 2021, Shiba Inu has recorded outstanding developments including notable projects and partnerships. 

More so, the number of Shiba Inu holders and community members has been on a steady dramatic increase in recent months. 

As reported by The Crypto Basic, the team recently revealed that numerous upcoming developments would be onboarded post-mainnet launch of Shibarium. 

Notably, the layer-2 scaling solution is expected to hit the mainnet around mid-August. According to Kusama, the much-awaited Shibarium would further show why Shiba Inu is greater than Worldcoin and X.
