Ripple CTO Says ‘Two Things Will Happen’ at Ripple XRP Victory Party in NYC

David Schwartz reacts to XRPP’s predictions for the Ripple celebratory party in New York City, saying two out of the five events will happen.

As the XRP community continues to anticipate the upcoming celebration party in honor of Ripple Labs’ recent legal victory against the SEC, popular community member XRPP (XRP Productions) has speculated five events that could occur at the gathering.

XRPP Predictions for Ripple Party

In a September 5 tweet, XRPP said the five events are his “conservative predictions for the Ripple/XRP community party.”

Firstly, XRPP speculated that Ripple could announce at the gathering that it has fully settled with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Secondly, the handler stated that Ripple would announce its initial public offering (IPO) at the party.

Thirdly, the community member forecasted that XRP would surge past its previous all-time high (ATH) during the celebratory party.

Additionally, XRPP said SEC chair Gary Gensler will march nak*d at the party while XRP enthusiasts shame him.

Lastly, XRPP predicted he would do a Jell-O shot with Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse at the party.

Ripple CTO Reacts

As expected, the tweet stirred reactions from XRP community members, with many supporting some of the predictions. Interestingly, Ripple CTO David Schwartz also reacted to the tweet, saying that two of the five predictions will come to pass.

It bears mentioning that XRPP is a satirical account on X focused on sharing humor about XRP and Ripple. However, tweets from the account have always prompted XRP community members’ reactions.

Notably, Schwartz has sometimes joined other XRP community members in reacting to tweets from XRPP. Schwartz is also well known for his sense of humor in the XRP community.

As reported earlier, the Ripple CTO warned XRPP that one of his pranks could get him into trouble. The warning came after XRPP shared a purported chat with Judge Analisa Torres, the presiding judge of the SEC v. Ripple case. Reacting, Schwartz told XRPP that impersonating a federal judge is a crime.

Ripple Celebratory Party

Meanwhile, the XRP community is enthusiastic about Ripple’s celebratory party following its legal victory against the SEC.

The event, dubbed The Proper Party, is scheduled to take place on September 29 in New York City. Yesterday, Ripple tweeted that it will release more tickets for the party today by 9 AM (ET).

It noted that the venue has limited space, and attendance will be strictly on a first-come, first-served.

“If you no longer can make it, please cancel your registration to free up tickets for others!,” Ripple added.
