Here’s Projected Timeline for Shiba Inu to Hit $0.01

Several entities, including Changelly, ChatGPT and Google Bard, have projected a timeline for Shiba Inu (SHIB) to clinch the ambitious $0.01 price target.

Shiba Inu (SHIB) was a victim of the recent market-wide collapse, which saw the crypto asset drop to a 1-month low of $0.00000827 on Jan. 2 amid a massive 21% decline from the value it started the day with. 

The slump resulted in the loss of the pivotal $0.00001 territory. SHIB eventually staged a recovery but remained below this pivotal psychological threshold, eventually closing Jan. 2 with a 9.38% loss, its highest intraday decline since Dec. 17, 2023.

Shiba Inu aims to reclaim the $0.00001 price territory, with a goal to leverage it as a springboard for when the market triggers another substantial price upsurge. Amid the battle to greater heights, a few market participants already have their eyes set on ambitious price targets such as $0.01.

While such price goals have been projected to be out of reach for Shiba Inu, entities such as crypto trading platform Changelly and AI chatbots ChatGPT and Google Bard have shared insights on when they think the crypto asset could clinch them.

Changelly Projects When Shiba Inu Could Hit $0.01

In a report today, Changelly provided a comprehensive analysis of Shiba Inu’s current price position, and its possible price direction. The platform noted that SHIB’s sentiment has now shifted to Bearish despite a 60% green period over the past month.

Notably, SHIB currently changes hands at $0.00000955 with an 8% drop over the past week. Changelly has a bearish projection for Shiba Inu this month, predicting the token to end January at $0.00000897, a 6% drop from its current price.

Nonetheless, the platform expects SHIB to perform well the rest of the year, with a projected maximum price of $0.00001599. Meanwhile, the Changelly research team does not see SHIB hitting the $0.01 target until 2050, when they expect the token to clinch a minimum price of $0.0120.

Google Bard and ChatGPT Projections

However, Google’s experimental AI chatbot Bard is not as bullish on Shiba Inu as the Changelly team. We asked Bard what its projected timeline would be for SHIB to hit $0.01. The chatbot initially dismissed the price prediction as impossible in our lifetime.

When compelled to actually present a year, Bard mentioned 2100, about 76 years later. The AI chatbot noted that the 2100 projection does not come from any informed analysis, but represents the closest year it could come up with, given the improbability of the $0.01 goal.

We threw the same question to OpenAI’s chatbot, ChatGPT. In its classic response, the chatbot stressed that its capabilities do not involve predicting cryptocurrency prices. However, the jailbroken version asserted that Shiba Inu could hit $0.01 in the next two to three years, representing the most ambitious projection.

ChatGPT rightly reiterated that such prediction is uncertain and the crypto market carries inherent risks. For context, at Shiba Inu’s current price of $0.00000955, the token would need to increase 104,612% to hit $0.01. At this price, the token’s market cap would soar to $5.89 trillion if its supply remains static.
