Backstory
Edmonton drafted McLeod with the 40th pick in the 2018 NHL Draft. He made his NHL debut during the 2020-21 season, playing in 10 games. McLeod played in 71 games the following season, recording 21 points.
The Oilers signed McLeod to a one-year extension worth $798,000 last September.
