Shiba Inu’s pseudonymous lead developer Shytoshi Kusama expresses high-octane happiness as the Shibarium mainnet release approaches, eliciting enthusiasm among the ShibArmy. 

Undoubtedly, Shibarium is among the most significant undertakings in the Shiba Inu ecosystem. Accordingly, the teeming Shiba Inu community has been eagerly awaiting its mainnet launch. 

Shytoshi Kusama’s latest expression has further fueled SHIB proponents’ anticipation for the layer-2 scaling solution. In a recent tweet, the Shiba Inu lead developer hinted at his prevailing mood ahead of the Shibarium mainnet release.

Notably, the developer displayed a GIF showing Vegeta, a fictitious character in the Dragon Ball anime, in his “Ultra Ego” state. While Kusama did not particularly reference Shibarium, community members have ascribed the recent display to the imminent launch of the L2 solution.

Possible Implications

The sensational Tuesday disclosure from Kusama depicted ecstasy regarding Shibarium. It showed the high expectations the developer has for the L2 scaling solution. It also portrayed the critical role the L2 project would play in expanding the Shiba Inu ecosystem. 

Recall that a top Bitcoiner recently submitted that Shibarium could trigger big things for SHIB if it works as expected. Davinci Jeremie’s remark emerged because the L2 project is designed to enhance the efficiency of the Shiba Inu network. 

It bears mentioning that the lead developer dropped his mood update shortly after Puppynet activity halted abruptly on August 5. Kusama’s new mood further indicates that the Shibarium mainnet launch is imminent. 

Wen Shibarium? 

Amid these positive developments, the precise date for the mainnet release of Shibarium has remained undisclosed by the Shiba Inu team. However, Kusama previously hinted that community members should expect the launch during the Blockchain Futurist Conference. The summit is slated for August 15 and 16 in Toronto. 

As reported by The Crypto Basic, Kusama extended an official invitation to Elon Musk regarding the conference. This has further fueled the speculations that Shibarium mainnet has been primed to go live at the event.
