The team responsible for Ledger development focused its attention on resolving the bugs associated with the appropriate usage of DRep thresholds.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition, the development team behind Lace Wallet, a light wallet built on Cardano, focused on enhancing its multi-staking feature. The report noted that the team will release the multi-staking upgrade next week.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"td-adspot-title\">&#8211; Advertisement &#8211;<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cardano Smart Contract Feature Sees Update\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Interestingly, Cardano\u2019s smart contract functionality also received significant upgrades in the past week. Per the report, the Plutus and Marlowe teams worked on different projects in relation to the network\u2019s smart contract.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While the Plutus team worked on Cardano-node-emulator testing and Marconi API queries, the Marlowe team organized two workshops to explore Marlowe\u2019s safety features and its beginner-friendly smart contracts.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Team Enhances Cardano Scaling<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There were also some updates from the Mithril team, which focused on improving Cardano\u2019s scaling. The team made progress with decentralizing the Mithril networks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It resolved the issues with Cardano\u2019s Docker package and addressed the technical problems in the release mainnet aggregator.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Notably, Cardano\u2019s development efforts in the past week further support the latest milestone achieved by the network. At the time of writing, there are now 1,302 projects building on Cardano.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In September, TheCryptoBasic reported the number of projects building on Cardano to be around 1,287. Consequently, the current figure suggests that 15 new projects have started building on Cardano since September 29.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Additionally, the report shows that 148 projects have gone live on Cardano since its inception in 2017. Furthermore, the number of assets issued on the Cardano network has reached an astounding 9 million.
